What this document covers

Acceptable use of the site, the limits of the editorial information we publish, ownership of the material, and how we handle changes to these terms.

What it does not cover

Your own engagement with any software vendor, your accounting records, or advice about your specific tax and reporting situation. Those sit outside this site.

Where to start

Use of the site, content and purpose, and no professional relationship are the three sections most visitors read first. Each one is short.

Use of the site

Reading, linking, sharing

You may read, link to, and share the content on this site for personal and internal business purposes. Quoting a passage in a team note or a planning document is fine, and linking back to the original page is welcome.

You may not copy content for republication, scrape the site at scale, or use automated tools in a way that interferes with normal operation. Republishing a guide under another byline, mirroring pages on a second domain, or running crawlers that slow the site for other readers all fall outside permitted use. We may restrict access if we detect abusive use.

Allowed

Reading guides, linking to pages, quoting short passages with attribution, sharing with colleagues inside your own organization.

Not allowed

Republishing full guides elsewhere, bulk extraction of page content, or automated requests that degrade the site for other visitors.

Content and purpose

General information only

The site publishes editorial information about bookkeeping and accounting workflow automation. It is provided for general information only. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice about your own situation.

Software capabilities described on the site reflect publicly stated information and may change. A feature listed on a vendor's pricing page today can be renamed, bundled differently, or retired before your next renewal. Before you commit budget or migrate a workflow, confirm the current behavior with the vendor directly and test it against your own chart of accounts.

Our guides are written to help you compare options and ask better questions. They are not a recommendation to adopt any particular tool, and nothing here should be read as a promise about the outcome of an implementation.

No professional relationship

Reading a guide, or sending us a message, does not make Finoradeks your accountant.

Using this site, reading a guide, or sending a message through the contact form does not create an accountant-client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship. We do not review your books, file anything on your behalf, or act on your accounts. Any engagement that would create that kind of relationship starts with a separate written agreement, not with a form on this site.

Intellectual property

Who owns what

The text, structure, and original materials on this site belong to Finoradeks unless otherwise noted. That includes our comparison write-ups, the way we organize workflow stages, and the explanatory diagrams that appear in our guides.

Product names, trademarks, and platform descriptions reference third parties and remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party platforms are for identification and comparison only and do not imply endorsement or partnership. If a vendor's name appears in a comparison table, it appears because the tool is relevant to the workflow being described, not because of any commercial arrangement.

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, write to us at [email protected] with enough detail to identify the passage and we will review it.

Leaving this site

The site may link to third-party websites, including software vendors. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Following a link is at your own risk, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

We link out for two reasons: so you can verify a capability we described, and so you can read a vendor's own documentation before you rely on it. A link is not a recommendation, and it does not mean we have reviewed everything on the destination site.

If a link is broken or points somewhere unexpected, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it. You can also read how we handle information collected on this site in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Accuracy and changes

We aim to keep the guides accurate and update them when platform capabilities change. We do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free at all times. Software moves quickly, and a page written in one quarter can read as dated by the next.

How updates happen

When a vendor changes how a workflow step behaves, we revise the affected guide and its comparison entries rather than adding a correction note on top.

Content we may remove

We may change, remove, or reorganize content without notice, including retiring a guide whose subject no longer reflects how teams actually work.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If the change is material, the effective date at the top of this page moves with it.

If a discrepancy matters to a decision you are making, treat the vendor's own documentation as the source of record and use our pages as orientation.

Limitation of liability

Scope of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Finoradeks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

In practice this means the site is a research aid. If you build a process on top of something you read here and it does not fit your books, the responsibility for verifying it sits with you and your finance team.

Questions visitors ask about these terms

Does using the contact form start an engagement?

No. A message through the contact form is a question, not an engagement. No accountant-client or advisory relationship exists until both sides sign a separate written agreement.

Can I quote a comparison from this site in a proposal?

A short quotation with a link back to the page is fine for internal and client documents. Republishing a full comparison table as your own work is not, because that crosses into republication.

A feature I read about here no longer exists. What now?

Tell us at [email protected] and we will check the guide. In the meantime, the vendor's current documentation is the source of record for what a platform does today.

Do these terms cover the vendor sites you link to?

No. Once you follow a link away from finoradeks.com, the destination's own terms and privacy policy apply. Ours stop at our pages.
